Crescent Ridge Academy is seeking a passionate, knowledgeable and collaborative part-time professional (6-10 hours/week) to support teachers in best meeting diverse learning needs of students for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will work closely with teachers, other support staff members, and administration to ensure that individualized support is implemented with consistency and integrity in the classroom environments.

Responsibilities:
-Develop, implement and monitor Individualized Service Plans for identified students
-Meet regularly with teachers to discuss classroom strategies and layers of support
-Provide training to teachers on Tiers of Intervention and student accommodations aligned with the Montessori philosophy
-Advise teachers on progress monitoring tools and data collection for identified students
-Conduct classroom observations and support teachers in meeting individual student needs
-Participate in meetings with teachers, administration, and/or parents and contribute positively to an inclusive school environment

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education
-Experience working with preschool and/or elementary age children
-Montessori experience preferred, but not required 
-Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and individualized learning strategies
-Effective collaboration and communication skills to build partnerships with families and teachers

Physical Education at GSCM supports the development of the whole child through purposeful movement, skill-building, and cooperative play. Our 13-acre campus provides open green space and outdoor areas where classes take place throughout the year, allowing students to engage with movement in a natural setting.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with children across developmental stages and brings a steady, encouraging presence to the class. The P.E. teacher values structure and safety while creating an environment where students can grow in confidence, perseverance, and respect for one another. Montessori experience is preferred, but not required.

This is a part-time position (approximately 11.75 hours per week) with the following schedule:
Monday 11:15 a.m. – 2:45 p.m. | Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. | Friday 12:30 p.m. – 2:45 p.m.

Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate PE instruction for Kindergarten through 8th Grade
Promote physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship
